Q.
How often will I get home?
A. We are committed to getting you home at least once per week.
Q. How much experience do you need to qualify as a driver at Market
Transport?
A. You need 1 year OTR w/school certificate or 2 years without.
Q. What is Market's pet policy?
A. No pets are allowed in company trucks.
Q. Does Market have a rider program?
A. Yes we do at no cost, but must be 16 years of age and immediate family
member.
Q. What type of trucks do you operate?
A. We use Freightliner's with Detroit-60 engines and 10 speed transmissions.
Q. What type of trailers do you use?
A. We have refers and dry vans 48' and 53'.
Q. What endorsements do you require?
A. We require hazmat for all drivers and doubles for local Puyallup and
Chehalis positions.
Q. What type of driving positions do you offer?
A. We need OTR drivers primarily along the I-5 Corridor, or Southwestern
Region. We also need drivers to work local in Washington. We also need Owner
Operators in Cincinnati, Ohio and Rochester, NY.
Q. How much hand unloading do you have?
A. If your load is on the floor we pay for all lumpers.
Q. How long is your orientation and where is it held?
A. Orientation is 3 days long beginning on Tuesdays and held in Portland
Oregon. We provide transportation, meals and hotels.
